What does CCSS aim to achieve?
In short, CCSS aims to …
• Bring wholeness to the community;
• Restore hope, purpose and identity;
• Influence and equip our clients and beneficiaries for empowered living;
• Serve with love, passion and dedication;
• Cultivate and promote the spirit of volunteerism
Who does CCSS serve and how does CCSS serve them?
CCSS seeks to
strengthen the family unit, which is the main fabric of society, by serving the needs of
children, youth, the elderly, families and the community. We serve them through the following platforms or channels:
• Counselling. Our counsellors journey with our clients through their challenges by providing a listening ear,
opening up new perspectives or walking them through a plan of action.
• Care Centres. Through Care Centres at different localities, CareHearts extends care and help to our beneficiaries. We help
children at our CareHuts (Student Care Centres),
the elderly at various Community Clubs and the
families of inmates at our Family Resource Centre at the prisons.
• Coaching. CareHearts strongly believes in equipping our beneficiaries for empowered living.
We conduct Family Life Education talks and workshops (such as pre-marital and marriage enrichment workshops and talks on Anger Management or Work-Life Balance) and run life coaching sessions and support groups for our clients and their families.
• Community Projects. CCSS aims to
rebuild lives and restore hope by meeting needs both locally and overseas through partnerships with other agencies.
• Connections. Acting as a bridge, CareHearts seeks to
bring connections between beneficiaries and volunteers who are at compatible junctures in their life journey, providing an avenue of support to them. CareHearts
connects and networks with like-minded agencies to better deliver our programmes and services. We also aim to connect organisations which seek to be socially responsible corporate citizens with suitable projects and groups of beneficiaries.
